Advocacy: Ensuring Your Representatives Know Your Priorities
Join us for a discussion about the increasingly important topic of advocacy. We will talk about what it is, what role families and individuals play in the process, and how to get started.
We’ll cover key topics including:
- An overview of advocacy including ways you can advocate
- Preparing for interactions with legislators
- Resources available to keep you informed about critical issues
Whether you’re a person receiving services, a family member advocating for a loved one, or a concerned citizen, this training will give you the tools and insights you need to begin advocating to ensure critical services are properly funded and continue to be available.
