Job Overview: The Marketing Coordinator will manage and implement communications and marketing strategies that mobilize people to give, advocate, and volunteer to advance the mission of Grow. This role involves creating communications and marketing materials such as blog stories, social media posts, e-newsletters, print materials, photos, and videos. This role also involves tracking and reporting analytics on marketing and communications campaigns and coordinating promotional events. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in increasing the organization’s visibility through strategic communications and marketing campaigns as Grow expands its programs and services.
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Essential Functions of Position:
- Work directly with staff across all departments to design and generate exciting and appropriate content about our individuals and programs to share with the world, demonstrating what amazing individuals we serve, and what a great place Grow Associates, Inc. is to work.
- Design and implement key marketing campaigns, including all social media campaigns.
- Initiate and cultivate relationships with the news media, and craft and distribute press releases and community notices.
- Manage tracking systems for photo/media release forms and online marketing activities
- Build online presence via regular social media posts including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other new platforms.
- Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing media and data.
- Plan, prepare and deliver presentations on behalf of the agency
- Collaborate with the Director of Development and Marketing to produce promotional calendar and materials
- Craft on-point marketing copy and short videos
- Organize promotional activities, events, stories.

- Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role;
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools;
- Experience with research methods using data analytics software;
- Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns;
- Solid computer skills, including Google Workspace, web analytics and Google Adwords;
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software;
- Excellent communication, graphics/design and presentation skills;
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS degree in Marketing or relevant field, or equivalent experience. Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
